What a service page has to do

A service page is finished when a visitor knows whether this is the right help, what they receive, and how to ask.

A service page is not a list of skills. A visitor is trying to decide, quickly, whether this is the right kind of help and what happens if they raise a hand.

The job of the page

Say who it is for. Say the problem in their words. Say what is delivered. Say what changes the timeline. Then offer one next step.

If those five things are missing, a clever headline will not save the page.

What to leave out

Invented client counts, awards, and guaranteed revenue do not make the page more convincing to someone who is about to trust you with a project. If a result cannot be shown with its source, describe the work that was delivered instead.

A useful test

Read the page on a phone, out loud. If you cannot tell what the company will do, the page is still a draft. The preview in the desk is there for that reading, before anything is published.
